Abstract:
One holograph letter written and signed by F. E. Spinner, former U. S. Treasurer, aged 89 years, in Pablo Beach, Florida to
General Charles W. Darling of Utica, New York. The letter states that Spinner is incompetent to perform the tasks asked of
him and his collection of autograph signatures of all the early governors of New York, which used to hang in his library in
Mohawk, would be turned over to Darling's Society in lieu of an essay by General F. S. Spinner.
